Did you know that grey hair is actually not grey? It looks grey against an ash or neutral color, but the strands are actually white. It is easy to advise against pulling those hairs out when we begin to go white, but most of us know that it isn't easy to do. I'm sure most of us would like to have our hair turn beautifully white as we age, like the woman in the above picture. But, how can we avoid those pesky wiry hairs as we begin to transition? What about those grey or white hairs that are wild and stick straight out? How do we avoid pulling them out?
Most people will go to the extent of using hair color. We recommend a 'sheer' hair color if you must. Using a sheer vs opaque hair color can make a significant difference when it comes to maintenance. Sheer color creates and soft natural grow out, and it will never look harsh or create dark color bands on the hair shaft.
